SAHBA kicked off 2026 with its annual Board Installation, presented by Rancho Sahuarita and Southwest Gas, held at the Jewish Community Center. The event brought members and guests together for an evening that celebrated the past year’s successes while setting the tone for the year ahead.

Attendees gathered to welcome SAHBA’s incoming Board of Directors, with special recognition given to Anjela Salyer as she was installed as the association’s new Chair of the Board. The program reflected SAHBA’s continued commitment to leadership, collaboration, and progress within Southern Arizona’s home building industry, while also honoring the dedication of those who have helped guide the organization forward.

The evening featured a keynote address by Ted Maxwell, President & CEO of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC) and Vice-Chair of the Arizona State Transportation Board. Maxwell shared insights on the RTANext plan and emphasized the importance of voter approval for Propositions 418 and 419 to enhance regional infrastructure, bolster economic vitality, and support long-term growth across Southern Arizona.
