Meritage to host speaker series events in Green Valley
Meritage Active, a division of Meritage Homes Corp., is trying to keep its name out in the Green Valley community by hosting a series of speaker events, including a health fair and volunteer fair throughout 2008.
"This is a great opportunity for local residents to learn from local experts," said Jeff Grobstein, regional president of Meritage Homes Southwest Region. "It's our hope that our Meritage Active residents, as well as other local community members, will take advantage of this on-going series."
The first of eight events began March 1 at the Canoa Ranch community, 5609 S. Acacia Canyon Place, with a representative from Green Valley's Bon Voyage Travel agency. Future topics include finance, cooking demonstrations and fitness.
