Adequate Water

Area water supplies are sufficient to support expected population growth in the Tucson area through 2030, a new study concludes. But the study by the Water Resources Research Center at the University of Arizona says the conclusion is based on assumptions that could prove inaccurate. Funding for the $28,000 study was provided by several area groups including the Metropolitan Pima Alliance , the Southern Arizona Leadership Council , the Tucson Association of Realtors and the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association . The study is available at the Water Resources Research Center Web site: www.ag.arizona.edu/azwater/
